The characteristics of movements on machine tools are grouped into the following categories:
(1) Lathe clamps: including clamps for lathes, internal and external cylindrical grinders, and thread grinders. The characteristic is that the clamp rotates together with the workpiece.
(2) Milling machine fixtures: including fixtures for milling machines, planers, surface grinders and other machine tools. The characteristic is that the fixture is fixed on the workbench and only performs longitudinal or transverse reciprocating or rotary motion.
(3) Drilling and boring machine fixtures: used for drilling, enlarging, reaming and other processes on the drilling machine or in the boring process. In fact, the fixture is fixed on the machine tool, and the tool is fed through the guide device on the fixture.
