With the development of society, more production fields have begun to use automation equipment as industrial productivity. The normal operation of automation equipment has an increasing impact on the overall production of enterprises. Here, we introduce the indexing chuck. The indexing chuck is a clamping tool that can rotate the workbench and plays an important role in many automation equipment. However, most of the existing indexing chucks assembled in the automation equipment on the market have the following problems: when using a grinder to process workpieces, there is no indexing chuck, and it is extremely inconvenient to coordinate the instructions with a single tilt plate for three angle adjustments; and each adjustment of the angle requires re-clamping, which makes it difficult to ensure the concentricity of the processing. In addition, there is no positioning mechanism connected to the chuck, so it is difficult to ensure the concentricity of the workpiece ; the overall structure is not uniform, the operation method is complex, the positioning method is unstable, error-prone, and the versatility is weak. The chuck specifications applicable to different equipment are different, and the scope of application is insufficient.

  In order to achieve the above purpose, technicians provided a new type of indexing chuck. It adopts the following technical solution: the indexing chuck includes a chassis, with positioning lugs fixed at both ends of the chassis, a fixed flange hole on the upper end of the chassis, a mounting hole in the middle of the front of the chassis, a mounting tooth block movable inside the mounting hole, a first-level docking hole at the outer end of the mounting tooth block, a fixed flange pin movable outside the fixed flange hole, and a dial movable on the upper end of the chassis. A turntable is fixed at the upper end of the dial; the outer ring at the upper end of the turntable is provided with a flange groove; the inner ring at the upper end of the turntable is provided with a positioning flange hole; the linkage gear is movably connected to the jaw plate through a support flange pin, an adjustment hole is provided outside the jaw plate, a positioning ring sleeve is movable outside the jaw plate, a jaw groove is provided at the upper end of the jaw plate, and an adjustment tooth block is movable inside the adjustment hole.

  Wherein, the position of the fixed flange hole on the upper end surface of the chassis of the indexing chuck corresponds to the installation position of the fixed flange pin, and the inner diameter of the fixed flange hole coincides with the outer diameter of the fixed flange pin. The rotating block and the linkage rotating teeth are overlapped and installed in the jaw plate, and the position of the linkage rotating teeth in the jaw plate corresponds to the installation position of the adjusting tooth block. The inner diameter of the secondary docking hole is consistent with the outer diameter of the adjusting tooth block, and the inner groove width of the claw groove is consistent with the outer width of the claw. At the same time, the claws and claw grooves are distributed in an equilateral triangle.

  Compared with the existing technology, this indexing chuck has the following advantages : Compared with the original indexing chuck used for automation equipment, the structure is greatly improved; using structural tools for rotational processing can obtain the smallest rotation concentricity deviation, ensuring stable clamping of the workpiece being processed; the overall structure of the device is a mechanical structure, the operation mode is simple and reliable, more conducive to use, and can speed up the clamping speed of the workpiece. At the same time, the positioning method of the indexing chuck is flange pin positioning, which has the smallest positioning error. The overall structure is compact and has good versatility. It can be applied to various machines and equipment, effectively expanding the application scope of the device.
